CEBaP Junior Researcher and PhD student Irvin Kendall turned in a brilliant performance at KU Leuven's 3 Minute Thesis Competition (3MT). 3MT is an international contest where PhD students from around the world explain their research to a broad audience in just three minutes. The winners of the participating universities are allowed to participate in the international competition following the competition in their own university.
Together with 14 other candidates from KU Leuven, Irvin was selected to present his doctoral research in 3 minutes. Irvin is currently in the final year of his PhD at KU Leuven, with CEBaP director Emmy De Buck as his supervisor. He spent the past 3 years researching first aid training in the African setting, together with colleagues from CEBaP and the Belgian Red Cross' International Cooperation Department.
